It is true what they say about desires, it is innate for humans to have desires, it could be none materialistic and it can also be insatiable, but one needs to have a keen interest of what their truest desires are. It's alright for people to have desires but it is imperative that they take precautionary measures if their desires have conflicting interests.
Ordinarily a conflict of interests arises when individuals find themselves occupying two social roles simultaneously with opposing interests and benefits. Also what usually causes their conflicts are disputes over approaches or substandard performances executed by either of the opposing party.
COMPETITION OF THE WITS
Competing is a desire to satisfy ones interest of the opposing parties and their individual needs. There is a thin line that has to be established in order to ascertain fairness of a competition and the tools used in making these analysis are swiftness, presentation, accuracy, attention to detail, and also being victorious.
COMPROMISE: WEAKNESS OR STRENGTH ?
Compromise is a subtle way of conceding to defeat other than constantly trying to win arguments, conflicts etc that have do with individuals or mere inanimate prizes to be won. Fear and doubts are elements that make people compromise. The very thought of loosing something/someone is a reason that brings so much concern for the future that is unknown of what the outcomes might become.
BRIDGING THE GAP
It is imperative to note that conflicts only exists because people have personal interests and they can't afford to have their desires get robbed off from them and that's why the will to compete over those interests is of utmost importance. The only time compromise sets in is if the person believes he had fought a good fight and there really is no need to keep going. Sometimes the best battles are won when people concede to defeat, especially if they have been fighting for so long.
